Real Color, on a Floor That Clicks Together
Cinch LOC SEAL is Forbo's click-together Marmoleum. The surface is made from linseed oil, pine rosin, wood flour and natural pigments, then bonded to a waterproof HDF core with a cork backing. It floats over most existing hard floors with no glue, and Forbo rates it for kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms and laundry rooms.
What sets Marmoleum apart is the color. There is no printed photograph of wood or stone on top. The pigment runs through the material itself, so each color reads as a soft, marbled field with its own movement, from a luminous off-white like Edelweiss to a near-black like Volcanic Ash.
Every color comes in the 12" x 36" plank, and 36 of them also come in the 12" x 12" square. The two formats share the same build and click together, which opens up checkerboards, borders and inlays alongside a classic plank layout.
Marmoleum's marbling shifts between morning and evening light more than a wood-look floor does. Narrow the list to two or three colors, then order samples and look at them in the room before choosing.
White/Off-White · Cinch LOC SEAL
Edelweiss
A soft, luminous off-white with a quiet natural glow.

Bright kitchens, bathrooms, and Scandinavian rooms that want a light floor with real softness.

Cinch LOC SEAL FAQ
The questions homeowners and designers ask when comparing the Cinch LOC SEAL colors and specifications.
How many colors does Marmoleum Cinch LOC SEAL come in?
45 colors in the 12" x 36" plank, and 36 of those in the 12" x 12" square. The palette runs from off-whites and grays through warm neutrals and browns to saturated reds, greens, blues and yellows.
What are the most popular Marmoleum colors?
Edelweiss is Floorzi's best-selling Marmoleum color. Among the neutrals, Concrete, Serene Grey, Oat and Agate are the most versatile. Volcanic Ash and Black are the go-to darks, and Lemon Zest and Aqua are the boldest brights.
Do the plank and square come in the same colors?
Every color comes in the plank. 36 also come in the square, and a color made in both formats matches across them, so the two can be combined in one floor.
Can I mix two Marmoleum colors in one floor?
Yes. Because every color shares the same thickness and locking system, two colors can click together in a checkerboard, a border or an inlay. The 12" x 12" square is the easiest format for patterns.
Does Marmoleum color fade?
Marmoleum can show a temporary yellowish cast, called drying room film, when it first arrives. It fades on its own after a few hours to a few days of exposure to light. The pigment itself runs through the full Marmoleum layer rather than sitting on the surface.
How do I choose a Marmoleum color?
Start with the room's fixed elements, like cabinets, counters and trim, and choose a color family that works with them. Then order samples of two or three colors and look at them in morning and evening light, since Marmoleum's marbling changes more with light than a printed floor does.
