Deep espresso bamboo with a soft, hand-scraped surface that reads as aged and weathered rather than as a flat coating. Modeled after long-aged dark hardwood, except the color is structural to the material - fully carbonized strands cooked all the way through rather than surface-stained. Deep, weathered, considered. Solid-strand bamboo on an engineered core, 9/16" thick wide-plank format with hand-scraped texture and an aluminum oxide finish. Strand-woven construction lands harder than most domestic hardwoods on the Janka scale, built for the busiest rooms in the house.
